Two drummers with almost identical instruments are standing on stage and start a virtual round - while the first drummer is playing the instruments, the second is not allowed to touch them. The dumb person's futile and painful attempt at emulating the other player and achieving more than just moving his arms adds a tragic undertone to this dialogue in the style of the commedia dell' arte. Halfway through the work, however, the part of the mimic player starts to become independent and to influence the real acoustic event more and more.
