Descripción de la:
This old tune was made semi-famous by Billie Holiday with the Teddy Wilson Orchestra back in 1935. Our new arrangement of Twent Four Hours a Day is written as a bouncy, up-tempo vocal with a 1930's feel. The chart opens with a rhythm intro leading to the instrumental chorus in Eb featuring reeds and muted brass. A short modulation to Ab brings in the vocal chorus, then a couple of brief solos for Alto and Trombone before the vocalist returns for the last half chorus to close. The chart has plenty of energy, the melody is infectious and the dancers will love it. Brass ranges are moderate and there are no sax doubles.
