A burning, Afro-Cuban chart. Solo changes are in alto 1, flugelhorn (trpt 5), piano and guitar parts, with backgrounds cued. Middle section is an additive rhythmic layering over a cowbell/shekere groove that builds to the out-head. Lead trumpet extends briefly to a written high F# above the staff, but is generally very playable. No sax doubles. Recorded by the University of Northern Iowa Jazz Band One on Sea Breeze Vista.
