Exciting programmatic piece from the Steve Wiest Big Band library. Based on the changes to 'Con Alma' the groove alternates between up-tempo swing and Afro-Cuban jazz. Solo sections for trombone (or treble clef instrument) soprano sax and drums. Optional double c scream parts for lead trumpet, written two ledger line C#s.
