The Miracle Masque is a morality play with music, set in mediaeval Italy, and follows in the tradition of Morality plays stretching back to the Middle Ages when they were a much need mixture of satire, drama, comedy andtragedy. In both the words and music the aim has been to balance with robust humour, the more serious questions which trouble mankind.
The play is not confined to one season or festival and is suitable to be performedthroughout the year and can easily be adapted to fit and suit the number of performers and the abilities of those involved. This script to this versatile play contains all the text and lyrics for all the songs.
