'Vi lever' (En Chantant) was recorded and released on a single by the French artist Michel Sardou in 1978. Four years later, in 1982 Wenche Myhre recorded a Norwegian version with text by Jan Eggum dedicated to King Olav's 25th anniversary as the king of Norway.
It became a big hit and the audience still 'demand' that it is included in the program at her concerts.
