Fanfare: A short fanfare, published in march folio format is perfect as a concert opener both indoor and outdoor. It introduce the powerful timbre of a band playing powerful in major. The side-theme has a lighter character and should be played in mezzo piano with a crescendo in the end to bring the first theme back in a powerful fortissimo. The grade level is low which makes it a good choice to work on accents, dynamics and tone-length. Rockemarsj: This one is a rough, energic march which also give the opportunity to sing. Melody appears all wind parts and the themes are full of contrasts between driving and energic to lighter and melodic. The text (in Norwegian only), can easily be changed to fit almost any occasion. Can also be performed entirely instrumental.
