This beautiful song is taken from the Swedish TV-series Emil i Loenneberget (Emil from Loenneberget) from 1973. In this serie, the song is performed by Ida, the sister of Emil. Swedish composer Georg Riedel and Astrid Lindgren (author of the books about Emil) wrote a lot of music together and this song is a good example of their good partnership. This arrangement is intended to be played by beginner bands and can be performed by a limited instrumentation.
