Musevisa (The Mouse Song) is one of the most famous Christmas carols in Norway. Alf Pr(o/ysen wrote the lyrics in 1946 after being asked to write some children's song for use in a radio program for Christmas. The melody is traditional Norwegian folk music in the style of 'reinlender', an old Norwegian dance.
