Descripción de la:
One of the newest recordings of this song is the 2008 version by Natalie Cole, who sang the song as a virtual duet with her father, Nat King Cole who recorded it in 1952, more than 50 years earlier. The song was written in 1930 by Roy Turk (lyrics) and Fred E. Ahlert (music), two famous songwriters of big band, swing and jazz music. The song was recorded by a number of artists in the '30s, '40s and '50s, including Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby, Dean Martin and Ella Fitzgerald. In 1961, the Swedish singer Monica Zetterlund recorded the song with Swedish lyrics, entitled 'Sakta vi gå genom stan' (lit. 'Slowly we walk through the city'). This version has in recent years been voted as a tribute to Stockholm, and it's today the most popular song about the Swedish capital.
