This mass setting has already appeared in the "Latinised" arrangements for choir and for soloist provided by the composer’s son (Missa brevis in G, BU 3044 and BU 3048). This edition now contains the original version in English (new Missal translation of 2010), including the Acclamations and the Great Amen, for flexible choir: in unison, optionally with four-part passages and a simple organ accompaniment. The mass is a short work which can be used in any communion service, in Tambling’s distinctive singable style.
