The range of tonal colour that can be produced by the clarinet made it eminently suitable for Debussy's impressionistic compositions and it featured greatly in his orchestral works. Only a few works however for the solo instrument were composed. James Rae presents some of Debussy's most popular concert pieces in these arrangements for clarinet and piano.
