Descripción de la:
The manuscript Ms. mus. 4970 is entitled: Ouverture a 2 Flute à Bec e B.c. di J.
C. Schultze. The first names are most likely to be resolved in Johann Christoph. Only a few works have come down to us from the composer Johann Christoph Schultze, who was born around 1733 and died in Berlin on August 22, 1813. We know little about his life; all that is known is that he was Kapellmeister at the Döbbelin Theater in Berlin from 1768. This overture belongs stylistically and formally to the genre of overture suites. These are to be addressed as sequences of more or less stylized dance pieces with a French overture (slow-fast-slow) at the top. Score and parts - score = harpsichord
