Descripción de la:
Composed around 1924, the Divertissement, op. 91, was first performed in 1937 by Marcel Moyse and colleagues at the Concerts Triton, a series devoted to contemporary music in Paris. The work displays Koechlin's close understanding of the expressive and technical capabilities of the flute, with flowing melodic lines and a brilliant finale. The original parts, however, were riddled with inconsistencies and errors, and no score was published, so the piece was rarely performed. This edition presents for the first time a comprehensively revised and edited full score (individual parts are available free to download). It brings this important contemporary trio for two flutes and alto flute back into the repertoire. Suitable for advanced players.
