In this edition I have tried to be as true as possible to the Final version 2008" manuscript. At times there are some lovely quirky details, for example, bar 52 the ‘piano' indication is on the second beat not first, and ‘Adagio espressivo' is clearly written in bar 117 not 116. Furthermore, in an earlier version of this piece, in bar 92 the third note was a G, but in the 2008 manuscript it is clearly an A; the performer may decide!" Emily Beynon
