Pop is a delightful; purely melodic work. It was written to be played at Gary Schocker's annual summer masterclass. And with that in mind; was created to be played for pleasure; without too many technical bumps along the way for the performers who vary in playing ability. Pop is titled this way because it sounds a little bit like the pop music Schocker used to hear in the 70's-with more modal shadings; but still a very accessible piece. Scored for 6 C flutes; alto & bass.
