Descripción de la:
Evelyn Rothwell (1911-2008) was a British musician who was considered one of the best oboists of her generation. She arranged Two Songs by Mozart for Oboe and Piano in 1969.
Das LiedDerTrennung ('Song of Separation', K. 519) was written in 1787 for Male Voice and Piano, setting a text by Klamer Eberhard Karl Schmidt. Set in a minor key, it explores the feelings of angst and pain created as two loversareseparated.
Un Moto Di Gioia Mi Sento ('I feel a surge of Joy', K. 579) by contrast, is a much happier piece. It was written in 1789 when Mozart was revising his famous opera The Marriage ofFigaro, and was originally written as a Soprano Aria.
