Descripción de la:
The symphonic poem 'Danse Macabre' by French composer Camille Saint-Saëns was written in 1872 at the Hotel Fuentes in Tangier, Morocco, originally for piano and voice. Two years later, the composer rewrote the piece for orchestra and replaced the voice with a solo violin. After the composer himself created further arrangements for different instrumentations, other composers such as Ernest Guiraud and Franz Liszt also worked on the piece and created their own arrangements.
This arrangement by the Dutch Ebonit Saxophone Quartet is not only extremely artistic, but also sounds just as full and varied as the French composer's original - masterful!
