Descripción de la:
Not only music lovers with an affinity for Ireland will be delighted with this imaginative CELTIC TRUMPET SUITE, which is colorfully composed with genuine melodies in authentic style. In his piece, Markus Götz captured the spirit of the Emerald Isle. With six trumpets and two flugelhorns, which he sometimes uses as a bass, but often like a singing cello, and the effectively illustrating percussion, he creates high tension from the first bar to the opulent final chord. Each of the three movements is based on an imaginary picture that allows the listeners to immerse themselves in a bygone era. In the “Prelude” we meet knights and jesters. As part of a festival in court, the knights stage themselves in a pompous and proud procession. The court jesters wittily join the colorful hustle and bustle with muted sounds.
The “Pastorale” leads us to the hilly landscape of Ireland. The two flugelhorns tell the tale of a shepherd longing for love, peace and freedom with a gentle melody. The third movement invites the listener to join the cheerful, spirited exuberance with a “Rustic Dance”. The special effect of the tenor drum and the tambourine gives this final movement an Irish flair and celebrates the sociability and contagious happiness of the rural population.
