Descripción de la:
Eb and Bb basses are available on request (see score for contact details). Nico Samitz has been involved in composing chamber music since his school days. For over ten years he has been writing works in a wide variety of genres for the ensemble "BlechReiz BrassQuintett", in which he himself plays trumpet and piano. His field of experimentation ranges from classical works to jazz compositions, meditative music and even pop songs. While refining his skills in areas such as composition and ear training at the Mozarteum Salzburg, Nico became acquainted with a wide range of works as a trumpet player with the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Philharmonic and the Bavarian State Opera, which have influenced his writing style. The driving forces behind his creative work are passion, the joy of music and the desire to communicate in a musical way and express feelings that are difficult to put into words. Like many of his works, he composed The Joy of Freedom for the "BlechReiz BrassQuintett". The catchy melody is used in various styles throughout the work, giving it a "catchy tune" quality.
