This is a cheerful march written by Jack (Jacob Pieter) Ham (1920) who was active and famous as con-ductor and music teacher in the West Friesland area in The Netherlands. He composed several works for wind band and wrote several fine arrangements, some of which have been published by Molenaar Edition. The march 'Bandleader' (1993) is dedicated to Jan Molenaar, 'bandleader' of the famous 'Jan Molenaar Bigband' and director of our publishing firm.
