Frédéric Devreese is one of Belgium's most well-known composers. His international reputation is based on his varied repertoire including film music, orchestral pieces and piano concertos. Frédéric Devreese has transcribed many of his orchestral works for wind band. He is now adapting his film score from the renowned film 'Benvenuta' by Belgian filmmaker André Delvaux (1926-2002), and is compiling a magnificent suite. The 'Benvenuta' suite is the first of a series of prestigious Frédéric Devreese transcriptions which will appear at BERIATO.
