A small, closely-knit community in a small hamlet of a small village in the foothills of the Brenta Dolomites. Small and simple, yet rich in the values typical of a mountain community. Although only the hamlet of a small village, Fontanè still has its own personality. It has a square, a population, its own history, a church and even a patron saint. This piece is intended as the musical expression of those simple values which also represent the spirit that has enabled these tiny mountain communities to come this far and survive in an era of globalisation, where standardisation and uniformity are the bywords.
