Descripción de la:
Our American Heroes' celebrates the heroic spirit that thrives within the soul of our great nation.
Throughout our history, men and women of incredible courage and compassion have set aside their personal concerns to protect their fellow men. We are proud to honor the many who have made our nation strong and who continue to keep it so today. When we think of our heroes, we can look first to those who have served in our wars and conflicts, from the American Revolution to the most recent events that affect the entire world. Those who put themselves in harm's way deserve the highest and most grateful appreciation and respect that we can proclaim.
The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and United Airlines Flight 93 in Pennsylvania left the nation shocked and grief-stricken. As a nation, our collective sense of what is possible was permanently altered, but so was our sense of what it means to be an American. Our need to protect our nation, families, and friends became stronger than ever before. Americans once again focused their attention on those men and women who protect and serve this great nation with bravery and selflessness.
This work is dedicated to our heroes, whoever they may be, to offer solace, hope, and respect. It rings with the uplifting sound of gratitude for those who have made the United States of America truly the land of the free and the home of the brave - our American heroes.
