The music of the film "Science Fiction" is based on the script of the 2002 film of the same name by Danny Deprez.
The film is about two children who think their parents are aliens. The parents are important scientists who constantly wear black sunglasses and do mysterious research at night. The children explore with their friends and they seem to discover the trail of the parents' alien existence.
"Science Fiction" is a relatively short but spectacular work that begins and ends in C minor, but features 23 keys! This makes it particularly challenging for the musicians who must all be on the edge of their seats!
This composition was created with the help of a contribution from the Music Investment Fund, an initiative of Buma/Stemra in cooperation with Voi(C)e, the Copyright Interests Federation and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science in the Netherlands.
