Quincy Jones composed this bossa nova for the 1962 issued recording 'Big Band Bossa Nova' Later, the song is featured many times in movies, TV-series and even as music for computer games! Many of us remember Soul Bossa Nova as main theme for the Austin Powers movies but is was also featured as title music for the FIFA 1998 soccer world cup.
The music is excellent for a concert band. With solo- and improvisation options for flute, altosax and trombone it is a perfect choice for any entertainment concert!
