Jules Sylvain (1900-1968) (pseudonym for Axel Stig Hansson), was a Swedish composer of popular music, writer and musician.
As pianist, he had success first as musician at cafees and later as orchestra leader in Stockholm.
At the same time, he began writing songs for theatres and movies. He was musical advisor for Svensk Filmindustri for several years.
Jules Sylvain composed nearly 500 songs. Nearly 100 om the are today regareded as 'evergreens' i Sweden.
