Graupner is generally known for his unique compositional style; he does not use a “standard” approach. Instead, he surprises his audiences with a distinct musical profile for every single cantata and solo concerto. The Concerto in D Major GWV 312 - a work in three movements based on Vivaldi's Italian model - is fashioned differently as far as the arrangement of the movements is concerned.
