Majesty was composed for a concert at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London given by Peter Fisher and the Chamber Ensemble of London to complement an exhibition of photographs of the Royal Family. It has also been played when members of the Royal Family were present. After a Garter Luncheon, Major Philip Stredwick, Director of Music of the Countess of Wessex's String Orchestra, reported: 'Clive's piece was the first to be played and was used as Her Majesty the Queen entered the Waterloo Chamber at Windsor Castle followed by other members of the Royal Family and the Knights of the Garter. Perfectly suited to the occasion in my view . . .'
