2 Flutes (3 in March No.2), Oboe, 2 Clarinets in Bb, Bassoon
2 Horns in F (alternatively 2 Horns / Saxophones in Eb), 2 Trumpets in Bb, 2 Trombones (only 1 part in March No.2), Trombone 3 / Tuba, Timpani, Percussion (Side drum- only in March No.1)
Strings (Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola or Violin 3, Cello/Bass)
Two well-known marches by Handel both taken from oratorios; the first from his 'Occasional Oratorio', the second from 'Judas Maccabeus'. A Violin 3 part is includ ed as an alternative to Viola and the Horn parts are given in F and Eb enabling their use by alto saxes. The Flute part divides into 3 in the first section of 'See the Conquering...' but the third part is cued in the oboe if you have only two flutes.
Duration: 5 minutes
A PACK comprises one full score, string parts 4/4/3/4/2 and any wind, brass and percussion parts.
