Specially commissioned to celebrate Jubilee Year, this work brings together some of the best known and loved British music. A seamless medley of music crafted into a piece suitable for a lighter main item in your concert, or as an entertaining encore. It is not just the patriotic loud bits but also beautiful quieter pieces too. You could get your audience to play 'spot the tune'! They should be able to find the National Anthem, Yeoman of England (Edward German), Jupiter / I vow to thee my country (Gustav Holst), Jerusalem (Hubert Parry), O Peaceful England (Edward German), Nimrod (Edward Elgar), The Banks of Green Willow (George Butterworth), On hearing the first cuckoo in spring (Frederick Delius), Greensleeves, Heart of Oak (William Boyce), Pomp & Circumstance 1 & 4 including Land of Hope and Glory (Edward Elgar), Rule Britannia (Thomas Arne) and For he is an Englishman (Gilbert & Sullivan). You can listen to a computer-generated 'performance' below. Of course, this won't be as good as your:
