The new Urtext edition of Mozart's piano concertos in the co-production of the publishing houses Henle and Breitkopf is progressing. The C major Concerto K. 503 enjoyed the special esteem of the composer, who, for example, put it on the program of his Academy in the Leipzig Gewandhaus in 1789, three years after its composition. The new edition is based on the autograph and also takes into account the first printing published in 1797 by Constanze Mozart at her own expense.
