Descripción de la:
From Beethoven's drawer
Mozart was of course a great model in the genre 'piano concerto' when Ludwig van Beethoven designed his first work (B flat major op. 19) in Bonn. Thus, in 1793, the young composer first wrote a final rondo with an inserted Andante, as Mozart had done in his Concerto K. 482. Then Beethoven chose a different final solution and kept the score of the B-flat major Rondo in his drawer. There, the work was found only after Beethoven's death and was printed immediately. The autograph thus represents Beethoven's earliest preserved and complete orchestral score. The Urtext new edition of the score and orchestral parts is based on the volume of the new Beethoven Complete Edition published in 2003.
