Strings (Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola, Cello, Bass)
Mendelssohn wrote a set of 48 'Lieder ohne Worte' or 'Songs without Words' for piano. Here are six of them arranged for orchestra by Kevin Hill in a style which sounds just like Mendelssohn's own orchestral writing. Most of the pieces do not have titles but many have become popular, well-known tunes. The six pieces can be played as a set or individually. They are: Op.53 No.2; Op.19 No.6 (Venetian Gondola Song); Op.19 No.1; Op.67 No.6; Op.62 No.3; Op.19 No.3.
Duration: 15 minutes
A PACK comprises one full score, string parts 4/4/3/4/2 and any wind, brass and percussion parts.
