Descripción de la:
After the new conception of the 'Leipzig Edition of the Works of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy' (LMA) initially produced volumes of juvenilia, it was followed in 2000 by 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', a work that occupies a central position in Mendelssohn's oeuvre and established the composer's fame even during his lifetime.
The presentation of a complete drama music within the framework of a complete musical edition raises questions of a special kind with regard to content and form. The edition's management and publisher are confident that they have found convincing and - perhaps not only for Mendelssohn - forward-looking solutions here.
Complete edition, score, Urtext edition
Speakers, soprano solo (2), women's choir, orchestra
Solos: Spr.2S - Choir: SSAA - 2.2.2.2 - 2.3.3.0.Oph - Pk.Schl(2) - Str
