Moritz (Maurice) Moszkowski was a German-Jewish composer, pianist, and teacher of Polish descent on his father's side. Ignacy Paderewski said: 'After Chopin, Moszkowski best understands how to write for the piano, and his writing embraces the whole gamut of piano technique.' These three dances are superb Orchestration:s of pieces taken from his well-known Spanish Dances Op.12 originally composed for piano duet:
1. Op.12 No.3 Allegretto, 2. Op12. No.2 Moderato, 3. Op.12 No.5 Bolero
