Descripción de la:
One of Chopin's most radical compositions, the B minor Scherzo leaves hardly any listener untouched. The wild main section, interspersed with brutal dissonances, frames the intimate trio, in which Chopin transfers a Polish song to the piano with true sonic magic. Legend has it that this work was composed in Vienna in late 1830. Chopin had just left his homeland forever; the November Uprising had broken out in Warsaw, and the composer's emotional world vacillated between rebellion against fate and inconsolable homesickness. With the revised edition, the Scherzo in B minor is available individually for the first time in a Henle Urtext edition - the Scherzi 2-4 will follow, finally crowned by the revised complete volume.
