This work was designed to help teachers, students and piano enthusiasts, easily find pieces that let them to practice a particular technical element. Each chapter proposes pieces by level and technical specificity. This album rapidly targets each person's needs, with learning method developed around repertoire. The presentation, though non-exhaustive, of this technique related repertoire resolves a true conundrum familiar to all teachers. Marie-Christine Guichot has been a piano teacher for many years. She directs the piano department at the regional conservatory in Perpignan. She has worked in conjunction with Denis Pascal for the piano master class at that conservatory.
