Descripción de la:
'Come Fly with Me' was written for Frank Sinatra, and was the title track of his 1958 album of the same name. The song sets the tone for the rest of the album, describing adventures in exotic locales, in Bombay, Peru and Acapulco Bay as the Jet Age began.
It subsequently became part of Sinatra's concert repertoire and would feature in numerous performances. Some of the more recent recordings are done by Michael Bublé and Robbie Williams and the song appears in very many movies.
The arrangement is inspired by Bublé, Robbie W. and Sinatra, but I hope it can also have its own value. Solos can easily be added to all melodies. If you want to use vocals, you soften or take away the melody as it appears in the different voices. Two before 61 starts a tutti part that should be played as written. What is important when using ShowBlow (Flex 5) is to find a good balance between the voices. Make sure no voice sticks out at 61, but that the top line is heard all the way. Bassline can always be heard! Otherwise, it is important to bring out the melody line so it's easy heard. If it ain't got that Swing....!
